UJIA exists to create life-changing connections between young people and communities here in the UK and those in Israel. Whilst these connections have not been physical in the past year, we have sought innovative ways of bringing people together.
UJIA continues to lead the way in Israel engagement for children, teenagers and young adults in the UK. This has been enhanced by virtual and remote activities in the schools, youth movements and community organisations that serve our young people.
In Israel where the pandemic hit underprivileged and deprived communities the hardest, we are fully committed to the young people who need our support. Through our work, thousands of children and teenagers are able to see a route out of poverty, hardship and inequality and towards opportunity.
This Yom Ha’atzmaut we are asking for your support for projects and programmes that are making a real, tangible difference to the lives of young people in the UK and in Israel.
