Y-UJIA Presents: Purim in the City 2017
Once upon a Saturday (11 March 2017), in a land far far away (Farringdon), Y-UJIA held their annual Purim party at picture perfect venue, The Fable. Over 700 young professionals came together for the fairytale-themed club night with an interactive photo booth, a sweet stall and free Hamantaschen. The night raised over £18,000 for charitable projects in Israel and the UK; a very happy ending indeed.
Committee Co-Chairs Lara Bloch and Roxy Kaye said, “The night was such a success, and for such a worthy cause; people didn’t want to leave when the lights came on. We loved seeing all the amazing costumes people came in.”
Organiser Frankie Stanton from Young UJIA, said, “It was such an incredible night. We had more guests and we raised thousands more than last year. It’s amazing to see the event grow each year, and we were so pleased to see so many young Jewish professionals coming together to celebrate. Thank you to our Committee for all their help.”
The event was sponsored by Masa Israel Journey UK.
