The very first Tel Aviv Pride parade was in 1993. Nearly every year since then, Tel Aviv has organised a week of Pride events to raise awareness about equal rights for the LGBT+ community in Israel, and to celebrate the many different ways that people can be LGBT+ and Israeli. This activity sheet will help to raise your awareness about LGBT+ Israelis, and tell you a bit about the different ways that they have contributed to life in Israel.
