UJIA believes that connecting to Israel means knowing and understanding more about the history of Israel and the people of Israel. Our programmes impact thousands of young British Jews every year, helping ignite the spark of curiosity about Israel and ensuring that the next generation is informed and motivated to learn even more.
Whilst there’s no substitute to going to Israel, click the links below to see some ways UJIA brings Israel to you, your family and your community.
UJIA JAMS – supporting Jewish pupils in non-Jewish schools across the UK to bring Jewish and Israel education into their school J-Socs.
UJIA Israel Fast Track Fellowship – our flagship programme for Sixth-Formers, helping you go in-depth in your understanding of Israel and preparing you to be a leader in the Israel conversation.
Shlichim/Shinshinim – each year UJIA partners with the Jewish Agency for Israel to bring incredible young Israeli educators to our community, bringing Israel to life for British Jews of all ages.
Supporting the Youth Movements – the youth movements are the backbone of the community’s informal education and Israel Engagement infrastructure, and UJIA is proud to be their biggest supporter.
Supporting UJS and Jewish Students – heading off to uni is exciting but can also be daunting. UJIA supports UJS, the Union of Jewish Students, who represent and empower Jewish students on campuses across the UK. We recommend that you visit their Digital Israel Portal (DIP), which we are pleased to support. It is an online hub for everything you need to know about Israel with resources from around the globe. DIP in and explore this entire country at your fingertips.
