Harvey Bratt, UJIA Director of Legacies in conversation with Dame Margaret Hodge

Wednesday, 9th September 2020

11.30AM-12.30PM

Join us in conversation with Dame Margaret Hodge in the lead up to the imminent publication of the EHRC report into the Labour party’s handling of antisemitism. There will also be the opportunity to learn more about the work UJIA does in the UK and Israel.

Dame Margaret Hodge is a British politician serving as the MP for Barking since 1994. In 2018, Hodge confronted the Labour party after it adopted new watered-down guidelines on antisemitism. She criticised the party for making it a ‘hostile environment for Jews’ and has subsequently called for a new and entirely independent system to handle antisemitism disciplinary proceedings within the Labour Party.
