Over 160 volunteers help secure our future in national UJIA telethon
Over £135,000 raised in UJIA National Super Sunday telethon!
£80,000 was raised in London, £40,353 in Manchester and Liverpool, £8,710 in Leeds and £4,600 in Glasgow.
Over 160 supporters volunteered their time to make hundreds of canvassing calls at UJIA’s offices as part of the Securing our Future campaign. The money raised will go towards vital programming for young people in the UK Jewish community, and access to education in the deprived Galil region in Israel.
Chief Executive Michael Wegier said, “Today was a truly national event for UJIA and it was humbling to see how many people want to give – not just their money but also their time. From London to Manchester and Leeds to Glasgow, we have a community working hard to secure our future.”
