Masa UK Events and Recruitment Coordinator

We are looking to recruit for the position of Masa UK Events and Recruitment Coordinator to promote Israel programmes to Jewish students and young professionals across the UK.

Masa Israel Journey (Masa) offers young adults between the ages of 18 and 30 immersive, life-changing gap year, study abroad, post-college and volunteer experiences in Israel, connecting them to programmes that meet their interests, offering scholarships, providing expertise, and supporting them throughout the entire process.

Masa is a joint project of the Government of Israel and the Jewish Agency for Israel. In the UK, UJIA is the gateway to Masa Israel.

Role summary

Overseeing programme recruitment of 18-30 year olds on Masa Israel programmes by partnering, sponsoring, organising and running recruitment events across the UK. You will represent the company at exhibitions, negotiate sponsorship according to budget with partner organisations, attend team meetings sharing best practice with colleagues, and review your own recruitment performance; aiming to meet or exceed targets.

You will be a confident public speaker, with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for Israel and you will travel across the UK to meet potential participants. Citrix-based CRM system training is available for the successful candidate, no past experience necessary. Potential for travel to the annual Masa conference in Israel is a possibility.

Union of Jewish Students (UJS) is one of Masa Israel’s closest partners in the UK and this role will also involve being a full member of the UJS team as well as the UJIA Informal Education Department.

Salary: £20-24k, depending on experience

Events Coordinators

We are looking to recruit two Events Coordinators (one full time, one part time maternity cover) to oversee the execution and delivery of all fundraising events for UJIA.

Purpose of the Job

The Events Coordinators will oversee the execution and delivery of all fundraising events for UJIA. They will manage all the administration of UJIA events as well as liaising with the relevant lay committees and being the key liaison with table hosts and guests. They will also be responsible for the inputting and maintenance of the events data on our database and for arranging all the logistics.

Main Tasks:

  1. Managing key fundraising events
  2. Updating Raiser’s Edge database
  3. Creating relationships with lay committees and events suppliers
