We are looking to recruit for the position of Masa UK Events and Recruitment Coordinator to promote Israel programmes to Jewish students and young professionals across the UK.
Masa Israel Journey (Masa) offers young adults between the ages of 18 and 30 immersive, life-changing gap year, study abroad, post-college and volunteer experiences in Israel, connecting them to programmes that meet their interests, offering scholarships, providing expertise, and supporting them throughout the entire process.
Masa is a joint project of the Government of Israel and the Jewish Agency for Israel. In the UK, UJIA is the gateway to Masa Israel.
Overseeing programme recruitment of 18-30 year olds on Masa Israel programmes by partnering, sponsoring, organising and running recruitment events across the UK. You will represent the company at exhibitions, negotiate sponsorship according to budget with partner organisations, attend team meetings sharing best practice with colleagues, and review your own recruitment performance; aiming to meet or exceed targets.
You will be a confident public speaker, with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for Israel and you will travel across the UK to meet potential participants. Citrix-based CRM system training is available for the successful candidate, no past experience necessary. Potential for travel to the annual Masa conference in Israel is a possibility.
Union of Jewish Students (UJS) is one of Masa Israel’s closest partners in the UK and this role will also involve being a full member of the UJS team as well as the UJIA Informal Education Department.
Salary: £20-24k, depending on experience
The Galil Office Administrator will work as an integral part of UJIA’s Programme and Missions teams in Israel to support the logistics, and conduct appropriate, efficient and smooth administration of UJIA’s work in the Galil, including missions, guest visits and engagement programmes in Israel.
Working under the shared guidance of the Galil Representative, and the Programmes and Development Manager, he/she will support and work in close collaboration with both Programme and Mission/Engagement teams in Israel and in the UK.
UJIA needs a Research Consultant to work on a range of projects in the Research and Evaluation Department. The successful candidate will be highly organised, efficient, flexible and have:
Clear and articulate written and verbal reporting skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Familiarity with Survey Monkey including design and analysis of data
Familiarity with NViVo analysis software, or a willingness to learn
Proficiency in Word, Excel, Dropbox and Outlook
An understanding of the landscape of the UK Jewish community and its institutions
Willingness to work on every aspect of a research or evaluation project, including conducting interviews and focus groups
This consultancy is project based, working one day per week on the Jewish Lives longitudinal study and up to 2-3 further days on research projects depending on demand.
