We are looking to recruit for the position of Masa UK Events and Recruitment Coordinator to promote Israel programmes to Jewish students and young professionals across the UK.
Masa Israel Journey (Masa) offers young adults between the ages of 18 and 30 immersive, life-changing gap year, study abroad, post-college and volunteer experiences in Israel, connecting them to programmes that meet their interests, offering scholarships, providing expertise, and supporting them throughout the entire process.
Masa is a joint project of the Government of Israel and the Jewish Agency for Israel. In the UK, UJIA is the gateway to Masa Israel.
Overseeing programme recruitment of 18-30 year olds on Masa Israel programmes by partnering, sponsoring, organising and running recruitment events across the UK. You will represent the company at exhibitions, negotiate sponsorship according to budget with partner organisations, attend team meetings sharing best practice with colleagues, and review your own recruitment performance; aiming to meet or exceed targets.
You will be a confident public speaker, with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for Israel and you will travel across the UK to meet potential participants. Citrix-based CRM system training is available for the successful candidate, no past experience necessary. Potential for travel to the annual Masa conference in Israel is a possibility.
Union of Jewish Students (UJS) is one of Masa Israel’s closest partners in the UK and this role will also involve being a full member of the UJS team as well as the UJIA Informal Education Department.
Salary: £20-24k, depending on experience
We are looking to recruit a Reception & Facilities Coordinator to be the first point of contact for UJIA, to oversee the reception area and meeting rooms, and to provide general administrative support to the Facilities Manager.
- You will manage our reception area and meeting rooms, and be the first point of contact with all visitors
- You will assist in ensuring that the building runs well and that supplies are ordered in a timely fashion
- You will understand the importance of and enjoy working as part of a team
- You will be enthusiastic, energetic and have a ‘can do’ attitude
The Reception & Facilities Coordinator will be responsible to the Facilities Manager.

Masa Israel Journey UK, the Jewish Agency for Israel, UJIA and the Israeli Embassy are looking for 3 Digital Content Consultants for this year’s Israel: Get Connected event, which will be held in Jewish schools around London in July. This is the 4th annual event and it is the biggest schools Israel event in the country! We’re looking for creative, out of the box thinkers that are social media savvy, with solid communication skills.
We need you to give us more ideas that will engage year 12’s and 13’s in Jewish schools.
You will be needed for any/all of the following at some stage:
- Come up with new ideas as to how to promote Israel: Get Connected 2017 using social media and general channels that year 12/13s use
- Push promotional content for Israel: Get Connected 2017
- Advise on the language used in content pieces
- Write some of the content going online
You would not be required to attend every single event as you are only there in an advisory role. No out-of-school days, mostly email communication.
