Looking to the Future

Kol Nidre Appeal 2025/5786

Since October 2023, UJIA has been there for the people of Israel as they look to recover and rebuild. Across the country, from north to south, we have been supporting the hundreds of thousands of civilians whose lives have been torn apart by war.

Our work has been wide-ranging in providing support – from those in trauma needing therapy, to the small business owners and farmers who lost everything – and now need to start again.

This Kol Nidre, UJIA has committed support to the border communities of the north and south of Israel.

The North

In the north, we are working with four key communities which have decades-long connections both to UJIA and to British Jewry.

  • Kiryat Bialik
  • Kiryat Shemona
  • Merom Hagalil
  • Shlomi

The South

In the south, we will continue to support Kibbutzim Alumim, Mefalsim and Nahal Oz as well as Kibbutz Be’eri with the rebuild of its kindergarten.

With your support, those communities in the north and south of Israel who were hardest hit by the events on and since 7th October will have a chance not only to get back on track, but to exceed their incredible potential.
