Israel Under Fire

The situation in Israel right now is both frightening and heartbreaking.

Hundreds of drones and missiles have been fired at civilians’ homes in the past three days alone and while the whole country is under attack, the Centre is where the impact has been most severe.

Sadly, there have been numerous casualties over the past few days. Children are scared. Adults are scared.

They are being disrupted during the daytime and woken up in the middle of the night by sirens and rushing into bomb shelters. Hundreds have been left homeless already.

Many of us here in the UK are asking, “What can we do now?” and the simple answer is, Israel needs our urgent support.

It was already a country in deep trauma since 7th October and now the psychological needs have significantly increased.

We urgently need your help to fund emergency mental health support and to replenish shelters with emergency supplies.

We are working closely with partners here in Israel to ensure that all funds raised now, will go to immediately support the needs of vulnerable Israelis under attack.

Our young people, olim, children, parents whose other halves are away on reserve duty and those already suffering. Remember, this is a country that was almost beginning to recover and rebuild, still suffering deep trauma.
